Can I leave my hammock set up outside permanently?

We do not recommend leaving our hammocks out in the sun unused for long periods of time. If it's for a day here and there is ok, however the main thing is not leaving it out for weeks and months at a time.

Leaving the hammock fabric exposed to UV rays deteriorates the fabric much faster, and can cause expedited wear and tear. To keep your Mantis in tip-top shape, we highly suggest packing after each use.
