Do I need to order straps for my hammock?

Yes. Our hammock and straps are sold separately to allow for order customization depending on your personal needs and preferences.

We recommend polyester webbing over nylon cord and nylon webbing for multiple reasons including: less stretch, more durability and environmental sustainability. Our Python 10 hammock straps are the strongest, tree-friendly straps on the market.

Unless you already have hammock straps or a stand, we recommend purchasing the Python 10 straps, or Python 15 straps for more reach from tree to tree, to hang your hammock in the air. Versatile, adjustable, and tree-friendly, our hammock straps can safely suspend users from anchor points over 20-30 feet apart.
