If your Swiftlet Push Button is not working properly, you may need to reset your Push Button -
Try putting the Spring Pin back into position, then hold the front pin in its up-most position (up against the tube) while pushing the back pin in. This should reset the pin.
Alternatively you may need to take out the Push Button and reinsert to reset:
- Use a pair of pliers and pull out the existing button by pressing down the button with your finger and pulling with the pliers.
- Once it is out you can "flex" the metal piece outward. It should then sit at a wider angle than it was prior. If it is not wider than when they took out the button snap then you may need to flex it more.
- Push it back in with the pliers until it snaps back in place.
